Hello,
I installed Antix on my laptop (HP DV7-2070ef). It really works fine, even the soundcard is working out of the box (that's amazing, no other distros i tried, not even Mepis, could do that. Btw if you know how to make it work in mepis...please tell me ^^). Now if only Antix was 64bit.... __{{emoticon}}__

I'm running anti-X M8 Intifada on a Toshiba Satellite 4090XDVD. It's a 400 MHz Celeron with maximum memory upgrade (192 MB) . Works like a charm, including the Trident cyber 9525 videocard which is usually such a problem for linux distributions to configure. Strangely, the DVD reader doesn't work, though it reads/installs from CD-R and CD-RW fine. This has been consistent for all distros tried. It's a Toshiba DVD-ROM SD-R2102.
Will post inxi -F when I get a moment.

I am running Antix 8.5 Live Usb made with Unetbootin on my Asus EEEPC 900. Wireless works after entering wlan0 in preferences (wireless interface) in wicd and using dhclient in preferences also instead of Automatic.
I am using sdd card to save my screenshots to for my tutorial I am going to write later if I can install /home. Refer to my stumbling block when it comes to /home in my other post here:

Running Live USB on Asus Desktop with a Unknown name wireless G USB adapter. Looks like a huge square Pendrive. inxi -F will tell you what chip it uses. This is the new Ubuntu 9.10 Asus Micro Desktop I just got. Haven't done much with it yet.
I adjusted Screen Resolution as 1024x768 for these old eyes to see. I never ran Ubuntu 9.10 before (64 bit version) with Gnome, EXT 4 file system, Nvidia graphics card, Grub 2, 64 bit flash and other 64 bit software either. So I am tippy toeing my way around. Today was the first time I figured out how to enable the bios to recognise and boot a pendrive ( so I could finally try this out, I wanna try my persistent SD AntiX 8.5 Prefinal also) . Lots of stuff was disabled in bios when I got this box. I have dual core, 2 gig of ram, a 256mb graphixs card , 320 gig Sata hardrive. I might start learning VM or Qemu next also which I have no knowledge of yet of using either on. __{{emoticon}}__
Edit: after chasing my dogs down (they escaped) and washing the dishes. I have connected wireless via ceni and wicd on this box with this wireless chipset. Sound and Video works OK to.

This thing has slots for either PC133 and EDO simms, and also works with 64Meg EDO ram, but prefer the 128Meg ram. The HDD is only 3 Gig. Currently am using a USB pci card with USB mouse, currently got problem with serial or ps/2 mouse being recognized and working.
P166, 64M edo ram. using antix-4.5-486
-after initial bootup, in either icewm or fluxbox, only 21.9MiB used, but after disabling services cron, cups, ifplugd, lighttpd, mpd, saned and wicd.
