Susavane1:

Try the following cheatcode in the grub boot line:

nodma

I have an old laptop where the newer versions of antix won't run unless I type nodma in the boot line. I noticed you are getting DMA timeouts in at least one of the pictures you showed.

Good luck!

Did a fresh install. Used smxi script, did an apt-get upgrade in testing and rednotebook would not open.
Error message in terminal said python-webkit not found.
Installed python-webkit via synaptic and rednotebook now works.
Did the upgrade cause this? Anyone else have a similar issue?

Just noticed the same in sid. It seems that rednotebook now needs python-webkit, but it isn't labelled by the devs as needing python-webkit as a dependency. A bug from rednetbook or Debian maintainer.

I'll remove rednotebook from the iso as python-webkit will make the iso another 15MB bigger.

It's only an apt-get away.

Are you sure anti?
I removed a lot of things here and only installed gimp and Chrome. python-webkit brought only itself (62,3 kB).

This is the pt_BR adddesktop.sh
I just removed the 'Encoding=UTF-8' entry since that is deprecated (no problem if kept, of course) and replaced /usr/share/applications as the target for /usr/local/share/applications

In antix-system I would put 'apt-get autoremove --purge' instead of just 'apt-get autoremove'.

A keyboard shortcut for dmenu (dmenu_run) in IceWM would be nice.

Mod4 Mod1 P is in fluxbox, what do you suggest for icewm keybings for dmenu?

While we are at icewm keys, I know the antiX default is weak, so any suggestions are welcomed.

"Ctrl+Alt+n" I think isn't designated to nothing else.

Using antix w/fluxbox at the moment, loving how clean and resource abstaining it is. __{{emoticon}}__ , sitting idly it barely uses 50mb ram. Fantastic. Does exactly what I want it too.
Thanks anticapitalista!

I don't know what else may be out of date in exoodles but the google repository is for sure (it still"works": installs an older version).
