You are not the only one Gnomic. Same, Same for me. Only way I can keep connection in wicd with wireless so far is to use in wicd>preferences>advanced settings>use dbm to measure signal strength to get a strong connection and no drops in wicd. I've been searching to see what is up withOn a Dell D610 laptop with intel ipw2200 wifi the internet connection dropped out frequently

addons>flashblockI have noticed that when on websites that have some acitve flash advertising I do not see the add. I see the space where the add should exist, but in the center there is the letter F and that will change into an arrow. I must click on it for it to play. I see it here on our forum with the adds and also see it on you tube. I think that once I click on it, it becomes"activated" and I don't need to click on it again.
