Simple Burn => Not tried - no optical drive.
Xmms => Playlist opens at the bottom of a 1366x768 screen. No sound (snd_hda_connexant). After using alsamixer to swap soundcard to HDA ATI SB, master, headphone, & speaker were raised; automute tried enabled/disabled, still no sound. (Nothing seems to configure sound on this machine, except GhostBSD, but then wifi doesn't work!)
Wifi => Worked via ceni OK, & ifup/ifdown work OK.

Xmms => Works, but no playlist window available on screen (1024x600), neither the 'pl' button nor 'alt E'; crashed the machine if I tried to open it too many times, both times I had to reboot. I presume it is starting, but below the screen somewhere!
Wifi => Worked via ceni OK, & ifup/ifdown worked OK.
Simple Burn => Not tried - no optical drive.
Hope the above is of some use to you.
