antiX-19 full and base ship with connman network manager.
Some users have reported problems connecting either via the gui or cli.
If this is the case, this may fix it.
Edit /etc/sysctl.conf by commenting or removing these lines (as privileged user)
net.ipv6.conf.all.disable_ipv6 = 1
net.ipv6.conf.default.disable_ipv6 = 1
net.ipv6.conf.lo.disable_ipv6 = 1
You might need to reboot and then try connman gui again
These iso files are based on Debian sid and come as core or net version using svsVinit or runit.
The following flavours for both 32 and 64 bit architecture are available.
antiX-core (c350MB) sysVinit and runit versions – no X, but should support most wireless.
Core versions also include elogind and dbus-x11.
antiX-net (c180MB) sysVinit and runit versions – no X. Just enough to get you connected (wired only) and ready to build.
The 32 bit version uses a non-pae kernel.
These iso files are for experienced users of antiX or Debian.

Thought I would see how this works.
antiX-19 base version (sort of), but with runit as the init system instead of SysVinit.
This is an official version of antiX-19 and though it is stable, it is a bit of an experiment.
Available in 32 and 64 bit.
* Default kernel is 4.9.200
* based on antiX-base version, but with some changes
* live iso built using lz4 compression, which means a faster boot, but larger iso file size.
* IceWM only (fluxbox, JWM and herbstluftwm removed)
* plain IceWM is default window manager to keep RAM usage low – ie no rox ‘desktop’ meaning that no icons on the desktop (live boot though via F6 or installed under Desktop menu give Rox-IceWM and min-IceWM options)
* spacefm removed
* uses ceni for networking – no connman installed
* there are bugs especially when running live eg on boot you will see some sequence of green ‘OK’s and reboot will actually shutdown the computer.
* as is the case with base versions of antiX, synaptic is not installed
If you find on installation that no drives are shown in /media, then delete the /etc/fstab file and type this in a terminal
sudo make-fstab

I have a 5.3.14 kernel available to antiX-19 64 bit users (buster, testing and sid).
This may be useful for those with new hardware.
Note: Virtualbox, broadcom-sta, ndiswrapper (and probably nvidia) drivers may not build for the buster version, but should build for testing and sid ones.

Latest secure kernels available in the repos for 32 and 64 bit architecture (stretch-antiX-17, buster-antiX-19, testing and sid). These kernels should fix issues with ufw/gufw.

antiX-19 is based on Debian Buster and systemd-free.

mk_swap_file=
Create a swap file at /live/boot-dev/swap-file. Size is in MiB
by default but
can take a long time because swap-file are not allowed to be
sparse. The default is to always use this swap partition unless
the “live_swap=all-off” cheat is used.
live_swap=off
Disable automatically enabling swap partitions. This is now the
default for encyrpted live-usbs. The swwap file above is still
used since it is on the encryped partition.
live_swap=force
Enable swap partitions even when encryption is used.
live_swap=all-off
Disable all swap including the swap file above.
notmptmp
Do not mount /tmp as tmpfs
nosavelogs
Live log files are saved under /root/Live-usb-storage/live-logs.
This parameter disables this feature. This feature is handy
because it automatically preserves the live log files across
reboots and makes them available if you mount the live-usb on a
host system.
nomicrocode
When live-init runs from the intird during a live boot we
automatcally load cpu microdoe from the linuxfs file. You can
also prepend microcode to the live initrd.gz. This wil load it
right at boot time but it makes the iso file larger and makes
the boot slightly slower.
p_static_root
Enable static root persistence. Note “persist_static” now requires
both root and home persistence to be enabled. In the past, home
persistence was optional.
f_static_root
Same as above with frugal enabled as well so it means do a
frugal install with static root persistence.

Quick and easy way to format a data usb stick
–data-first[=fstype[,size]]
Create a data parition as the first partition on the live-usb.
Typically this will be fat32 or or ntfs for transferring data to
and from Windows.
Cloning with “toram”
You can now clone a live system when the “toram” cheat was used
so you no longer need to have a 2nd usb-stick in order to
upgrade to a full-featured live-usb. You don’t have to do
anything special, just clone as usual and LUM will figure out if
“toram” was used or not and do the right thing. You CANNOT
clone persistence files this way. This only works on
antiX-19.b1 or later. It will also work on MX-19.* when that is
released.
Update initrd on a live-usb
You can also update the live initrd directly from one of my
initrd repos (live-initrd or xlated-initrd) by specifying the
directory as the from parameter:
sudo live-usb-maker –from ../live-initrd/
This is mostly for development.

* The presence of /etc/asound.conf causes repeated second long gaps in HDMI sound
* cli-installer needs to be upgraded before use on full and base. (core and net use the latest versions)
* Creating an encrypted live-USB fails unless an older version of Live_USB Maker is used. The version on antiX-17 does create an encrypted Live_USB of antiX-19
* Although the antiX FAQ has been updated, some parts may need further revision
