finally got the eeepc back from the kids...same issue with the slim login screen as rust collector. The choices for wm appear beneath the top of the screen.

rust collector/dolphin_oracle could you try editing the /usr/share/slim/themes/antiX/slim.theme (the one in test3) particularly this line:
Try changing the percentage range from 50% to up to 75%. 75% should be ok,
Code: Select all
input_panel_y 80%

changing that value to 75% worked fine on my eeepc.

I will try later today.
Will an update get me the new session-selection box?
I got the old box right now...
I have some internet issues, but will get back when I can.

Here is my current antiX-base configuration, which I built from M12.0 Base, Test 2:
When I installed Test 2, it worked perfectly for me. I have installed the kernel updates since then, and each of them has performed flawlessly.
While I have not installed Test 3, by virtue of the fact that I've been running this instance with regular updates, I believe I've verified most of the base software, excluding the installer, which I covered when I ran Test 2 live, then installed it. I have run Test 3 live and it works beautifully.
This release runs so well that I use it often, as much or more than my antiX core setup, which I also really enjoy a lot. I have not performed a core installation for this release; my core system is staying intact; it's great!
