The specs of the box?
I get about the same boot time on a PIII 733 Celeron with 256MB RAM, 30 secs on my AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ (SMP) with 3GB RAM, and 14 secs on an old PIII headless file-server with 128MB RAM! (no X, boot to init3)

PIII 1000 with 256MB RAM. Just posted the inxi -F in the hardware thread.

I haven't tinkered with the PIII 500 with 196 MB RAM that is running as a headless server.

1 minute, 14 seconds from Grub to Login window on a PII 300MHz Notebook with 160Mb RAM
