I do not know what happened but spacefm does not work anymore and I can not use my flash drive. I rebooted with the drive in and got a notice stating" unable to access /media/USB30FD permission denied"!!
Can anyone please help me with this? Thanks!!

What message do you get if you type spacefm in a terminal?

I went to the terminal and spacefm got me a warning. I copied the warning into my files using the editor. However I was not allowed to post into the forum from Antix so I am posting here from my other distro.
** (spacefm:2600): WARNING **: No root settings found in etcspacefm Setting a root editor in Preferences should remove this warning on startup. Otherwise commands run as root may present a security risk.
In antix 15 forum I got a 403 forbidden you do not have permission to access/posting.php on this server

when you run spacefm from the user terminal does it appear on the toolbar?
does the terminal return to a prompt or does the terminal stay open.

I just entered spacefm in the terminal and I got the warning;" ** (spacefm:2600): WARNING **: No root settings found in etc spacefm Setting a root editor in Preferences should remove this warning on startup. Otherwise commands run as root may present a security risk." inside of the terminal.
Next to the terminal appeared a box that displayed the entries within my home folder.

it doesn't matter where your window opens just what it looks like.
please post a screenshot. in spacefm, saying your home folder is displayed can mean a 1000 different things.cousinlucky wrote:my terminal shows this:
