Look at the logged errors in /var/log/Xorg.0.log
if you performed the dist-upgrade via synaptic or from a terminal app inside a desktop session,
maybe some config got overwritten which now interferes with x server or your graphics driver?
If so, perhaps bootline init 3 and reinstall your graphics driver might remove the problem.
Everything looks fine with X11, no errors or new warnings

Looks like a error just with LXDE (or probably something related to lxsession). After purge + reinstall slim is working again and I'm using openbox, while investigating the problem.

url was:"http://without-systemd.org/wiki/index.php/How_to_remove_systemd_from_a_Debian_jessie/sid_installation"
linktext was:"this manual"

-Reinstalled slim
-Reinstalled LXDE. I think that this step not is needed because the error was on lxsession, not LXDE
-Reinstalled lxsession
