So. After reading AntiX 11rc1 thread. I figured I'd boot up my Panasonic Cf-48 AntiX 11rc1 and do some experimenting (which for me means see if I can break something) __{{emoticon}}__

I've been reading up some on this change. I looked in /etc/xdg to see if I needed to check on anything. looks ok to me but would like to know if I need to edit anything there or even anywhere else I don't know of before I do a

I am not worried about editing menus/toolbars in Icewm or Fluxbox. Just wondering if any tips/pre-procedure I should know before I proceed with a

If you remove pcmanfm, do NOT do the auto-remove as you need lxmenu-data libmenu-cache1 for the auto-menu.

Tip toeing my way through this Anti, No apt-get clean or apt-get autoremove till I know what I am doing. Thanks for the heads up.

Going to leave the 3 file managers, rox, pcmanfm,mc alone for now. Still researching Configure Custom Actions for now.

First Hurdle though pcmanfm as well gave me this problem. The Slitaz Mount tool in antixcc though would mount it ok.

One of the first changes I make on a fresh install is to remove the new version of pcmanfm.
I then enable the Lenny repo's and install the old version of pcmanfm 0.5
Also have to force the shared-mime-info version from Lenny to show the icons properly within pcmanfm.
This lets me pretty much do anything I want logged in as superuser and calling pcmanfm in Terminal.
Shows my other partitions correctly and mounts CD and USB correctly.
The only downfall is if you use apt-get to do an upgrade it wants to upgrade to the newer versions.
I haven't figured out how to lock a version in apt-get.

This worked great! Used it on both pmanfm and shared-mime-info. Thanks for your help. I made sure to bookmark the link.

OK...I just installed Thunar to see what it is all about.
How do you make it display the CONTENTS of the other partitions on your hard drive?
I can see my other partitions in /mnt but clicking on their icons doesn't do a thing.

I set up as you did. The only way I can get the contents of the partitions to display is by using the slitaz mount tool in antixcc. While this works, it is clumsy compared to ROXfiler and pcmanfm 0.5
