No, 64 MB wouldn't boot for me, either, using the live CD. In fact, 72 MB was a no go. I had to go to 80 MB to get it to boot. Then, of course, it was painfully slow. It seems to work quite well, however, at 128 MB (512 MB Swap / 2.9 GHz cpu).
