There is a script called flash plug in selector or something of that sort. Also after doing the command rc suggested you probably should run update-flashplugin-nonfree --install to actually update the plug in rather than just updating the scripts in the debian package.

Anticipated my next question huh... good job dave....

I was coming here this morning to ask why that last command seemed to run forever updating the entire system, yet in both browsers flash remains the same no update... I'll run the update command now thanks dave....

OK now that I have updated flash to 11.2 I now have the same problem as all the other distros out there....
no flash will load now on both chromium or iceweasel... they claim on the mint sites if you revert back to version 11.1 or 11 this will be solved but 11.2 has some kind of codes they dropped that used to make flash work on older processors like mine....

so can you help me revert it back.... thank you..... __{{emoticon}}__

you can use"flashplayer-selector.sh", already installed on antix, to revert. there is a function for that (option 3 as I recall).

I've dealt with Adobe's flashplugin before in Crunchbang. The README file is slightly cryptic for new users. You have to install the flash-plugin file in EACH browser folder for it to update. It will not do it automatically. A big PITA.
