Ok, try this.
Reboot (sudo reboot)
and when you get to the menu screen, before clicking on the first option, start typing nomodeset then press enter

Ok, it might end up being quicker to re-install.
If you do decide to do this, either do not choose a separate home or if you want one, do not save the contents in the installer. Best to save contents to a usb stick and add back to antiX once we get it working ok.

I had that happen and using the cheatcode (desktop=) solved the problem for me. Form me was desktop=icewm. coj
