- Alright missed making the logo a link, it now is a link.
- the logo I forgot to change the code to match the new one so it is now fixed
- and I removed the page breaks, happened when I moved to a different computer and was editing the code like I was on the same one. On the laptop which I was originally using I have 1280x800 but the resolution on the multiseat desktop is 1280x1024 and I treated them as if they were the same, hence why it was stretched.

anyway hopefully this is close to the final version

Hi Dave, you made those? Nice ones, really.
Suggestions:
- direct to antix.mepis.com (antix.mepis.org is old).
- rework the shadows on the text. You could maybe use thinner shadows on the black text over gray, like maybe if some gray appears in the middle of the"a" loop then the word will look less blurry. And you should definitely use more lighting behind the text in the black page,"mean and lean" isn't legible here.

Next step is a new favicon (maybe work on the letter"a", be careful if using the letter"X" because it may get mistook by the"close tab" button).

i noticed that when i open the page, the search field is not selected by default, i have to select it to search. also i don't know which is best for the default search antix forums or the web., as a normal user i go for the web, maybe a poll would be best on this. superb work again.

@secipolla, atcl was a big part in it as well I cannot take all the credit
-fixed antix.mepis.org to antix.mepis.com
-added more grey into the lettering on the grey page and a little on the black
-added more lighting in the background and shaddow on the black page

- changed the favicon but it is hard to use such a small area, will need to work on this more.

- the search field is now selected by default
- changed the default search area to the web, I was finding this annoying as well but I will make a poll on it

The favicon is much better and now"mean and lean" is readable in the dark page.

As a personal taste, maybe I prefer"antiX" letters in plain black (the previous version) and also that the"Antix Forums" link to be in the same colour as the rest (it already has some highlighting by being an option for the search).

The text is more conservative but looks good to me.

Hi there,

Well, the design matured really well. Still I have two points:

-The four variants seem to have different heights (on my 1360x768 the scrollbars have all different length as well as the screen position of the central div)
-I know how hard this 16x16 or 32x32 pixel business is, but I feel the favicon should match the antix logo.
