I do not either as I have 1732 packages installed on my antiX-kdelite.. Its lite no longer.. __{{emoticon}}__

I was just referring to the tweaks like Wallpaper, KDM themes, etc. One thing I would like is to get sound at login, it seems kmix is off at boot. I have tried to find a config file for it, but not yet have I found it. I added kmix to the start and it opens at boot, but it is still off.

This might be too simple but open Kmix and navigate: Settings > Configure-Kmix. Check to make sure that"Restore volumes on login" is checked.

Thanks, but I mean for the live CD. If you have ever tried the antiX-kdelite live cd, when you boot into KDE, kmix is off and sound is muted.

Sorry, xToe....I didn't understand that you were talking about the live CD. As far as kde and antiX go, I am running antiX m7 base with kde added as you outlined here:

. It works really well for me so I see no need to mess with that. Sidux has a kde lite version that works nicely, as well. So, even though I understand the argument that kde, by nature, cannot be lite, it can be done (at least to a point). Hang in there xToe........

Cool... __{{emoticon}}__ I love it, too. Gotta love the flexibility of what Anticapitalista put together.

Hello all,

I've been meaning to do this for sometime now and next week I will finally have the time to give this a shot. I'm currently downloading the antiX-kdelite.iso to give it a try. First, I'll run it in virtualbox as I am looking for a replacement OS for Mepis 6.5 on my laptop. I see positive feedback here and in ML, so I'll post back and give you guys my perspective on it. Are there any plans to have this ISO updated to antiX 7.5? Will the script updater work for the kde-lite version of antix?

V/R,
Nats
