Is this available for testing? If so, where can it be downloaded?

Thanks
Unfortunately, there is only a 64 bit version available.
Will the 32 bit be coming for testing?

Distracting light spots in the default wallpaper show up behind the conky output.
I've edit them out & will upload the cleaned imagefile if you care to use it as a replacement.

amiblind?
I haven't found a launcher for"antiX-cli-cc" within the ControlCenter nor desktop menu.
Also, smartmontools is installed (pre-rc1 full) but I haven't found mention of smartctl or similar.
Also, I haven't found mention of /usr/local/bin/console-font-select

Thanks for the help in finding the 32 bit version.
I'll try it when I have time on Wednesday.

After switching between each of the wm sessions, ~/.desktop-session/log
mentions invalid characters present within the default JWM theme, along with other various papercuts

preRC-17antix_64. first boot did bootchart. space-fluxbox. No save.
exit. shut down. second boot selected wicd. space-fluxbox. no save.
spacefm started correctly (previous versions have needed a bump select desktop again to restart spacefm with desktop nudge.) both boots used the timezone setting, not default.
Control Centre >Network turned wicd on. no problem. works well.
((this machine trialed lubuntu 17.10 yesterday; its network manager did not work! short trial.))
not knowing if it is necessary to select F4-wicd, but I did and it worked. that might be connected to do save; I don't know at this point. when install will select wicd daemon as a start-up checkbox and try the networking with wicd instead of ceni this time. .
put up the bootchart and will install. loads of confidence in returning here with install. this live preRC64 is working well. and will add +2G ram before install.

hello watsoccurring
using space-fluxbox =
-live drag n drop Help desktop icon default COPY into spacefm document folder.
live delete desktop icon in spacefm the Are you sure? dialogue for yes or no is small and comes up behind, covered by, hidden from view, under, lower, than control centre or spacefm windows cover the confirmation dialogue without its focus. desktop locked until it is found and answered.
the remaining file manager icon cannot be relocated to a different spot on the desktop running live no persistence.
-installed drag n drop Help desktop icon default MOVE into spacefm document folder.
the remaining file manager icon can be relocated on the install.
The special qualities of the live usb seem to take priority over resembling the behavior of install. Must stop using the word live Trial. Is more like a live Example.
installing pre-rc: it transferred the selected timezone into the installer. and installed without confusion.
pre.rc17 idling nine hours at 219M used.
wireless networking with wicd success. (but the icon next to the volume disappeard sometime while I was sleeping; it is gone; computer no sleep or display blank, the wicd icon is not present. )
hi skidoo. the lights behind conky: good work to eliminate that. I see what you mean. I moved the conky downward to have those lights coincide with a border line; it made it better. (then changed background anyway.)

I posted this elsewhere on the forum but I think this is a better location for this feedback on antiX 17 pre rc1.
I tried AntiX 17 pre rc 1 on two different old Dell laptops with the following results:
Dell Latitude D600:
- if I initially use Wicd it picked up my wireless and wireless networks and indicated that I was connected- however, the internet apps like dillo, FF, and SMTube would not load webpages with errors errors like DNS can't resolve webpages or can't find server--it appears that I was not actually connected to the internet even though Wicd indicated that I was
-if I initially use Ceni it picked up my wireless and wireless networks, webpages loaded OK--after this Wicd also showed I was connected
Dell Latitude D610:
-Wicd could not pick up my wireless or find any wireless networks
-Ceni was able to pick up my wireless and connect to the internet and FF, Dillo, and SMTube were able to load webpages OK.
