After the fix in
viewtopic.php?f=43&t=4891

My Fluxbox is still strong. It survived reboot and dist-upgrade and smxi. Even broken package installs.

Well, My 11 install on the emachine is now AntiX 14 a3 RV. So no more screenies for AntiX 11 on it.
But my Panasonic Laptop is still running Testing 3 AntiX 11 and is strong and alive and well.

So here is AntiX 11 like you probably have never seen AntiX before. Theme is gtk2 fiftyways.

Everything I do in 11. Can be done on 12, 13.2, 14. and whatever other later issues come out.
MX-14 can be made to look like this also as far as theme changes and icons go.

Looks nice Rocky...alas my AntiX M11 install on my Thinky T42 took a dive very early last year so installed M13.1 then. I kept my desktop nice and simple with a black and white background and grey theme. Ditched the icons and used Wbar as a launcher.

Finished playing around with icewm gold theme. Icewm rox pinboard. Time to put this old clunker back on
the shelf in the shop. It is getting cold here. This was my main bike tuner laptop years ago before
I got my newer gear. One tuneup pays for a new laptop. __{{emoticon}}__

I dig that theme Rocky...what machine is that clunker? I have yet another Thinkpad, a T23 which now needs a new LCD which I found on ebay for cheap. Gonna use that as a netbook for travel.

That clunker is a Panasonic CF-48. I replaced the cpu paste on it and bought a replacement lcd cable from inverter to the back of screen. I had been running it with a external monitor for a long while.

The above picture was taken about 2 years ago before I fixed it.
The battery on it is only good for a few minutes though so it is not very portable. __{{emoticon}}__

Think you can find some CF-48s on ebay if you need parts for your beloved machine, but batteries may be hard to find though. I have just rebuilt my T42 so its now running like a champ again. Just put in a new CPU and it's speedier now too.

On the Panasonic CF-48 today. Dist-upgrade on 11 with no hitches.
But I am being conservative with the repos being used.

Probably later on. This 11 install will be replaced with a AntiX 15 Full iso install.
It never had a problem booting any of the test 14 alphas or 15 beta.
I just have too many projects to maintain and not enough time.

AntiX 11 Thunar works differently than later versions as it mounts/accesses internal drive partitions in /mnt
instead of /media. Thunar lists them in the gui as hdx instead of sdx also. Kinda like living in the past running this but it still works really well. QMMP instead of XMMS.

See, it's current
