The installed system has xorg.conf.in and xorg.conf.live. No xorg.conf. I've never encountered the .in or .live files. What is their role?
A Sharp Mebius PC-CB1-M1 has ProSavage KN133 video which fails to produce a satisfactory display with the savage driver. Appears that VESA should be imposed. How should this be done in Killah P? Edit one of the etc/two xorg.conf* files? Create a etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/xorg.conf?
Thanks, ... Peter E.

No dice. No mention of xorg.conf.in or xorg.conf.live.
Even a general google search failed to find them.

Read it weeks ago.

I have numerous pages of documentation; mostly ignored.
What's new!

I found the suggestion to add xdrvr=vesa in the grub
linux command. The Sharp Mebius has a Japanese keyboard.
"=" cannot be typed until the keyboard is reconfigured
or until I luck into the key.
I created an etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/xorg.conf containing
only Device and Screen sections. That solves it. The display is usable.
Will watch for clues about xorg.conf.in and xorg.conf.live.
