Greetings all:
I've noticed that the sound level in alsaplayer is much lower than in xmms, using the same mp3 file. I've adjusted the mixer bar to max for both and I just don't get as much sound out of alsaplayer as xmms. Anyone else noticed this or is it just my box? Any suggestions on what to do about this?

In antiXcc adjust sound and pump up pcm.
(This is using alsamixer)
