I installed Antix 15.1 in a new partition (My system broke after add"dev" to the repositories for run without systemd... __{{emoticon}}__ )

Now, with Antix 15.1 I noticied that XMMS crashes when I try to set it as double size (Ctrl+D)

It only happens when I launch Xmms from a icon launcher (Icewm+Rox) Howevwer when I launch Xmms from a terminal works fine, without this problem.

The crash is black skin for Xmms and CPU at 100%, I have to logout, kill the app is not enough.

Any suggestion?

Thanks.

Edit:

Sorry, the inxi -F output

The only suggestion I have is to not run xmms double size.
xmms is no longer being developed so this bug will not get fixed.

You could use an alternative player.

Fairly lightweight and xmms like are audacious and qmmp.

I switched from XMMS to Audacious (Audacious replaces XMMS and has all the XMMS skins!) years ago, no regrets. However, with much use came a few hacks from me, namely XMMS-style equalizer presets, streaming from STDIN, and a VIDEO-playing option! I've forked and shared this as"Fauxdacious", you can get it (and the full story) here: (https) wildstar84.wordpress.com/2015/11/25/fauxdacious-media-player-for-linux-released/ Combined with youtube-dl, you can even download & play Youtube videos with it (with all the Audacious/XMMS sound-enhancing plugins)!

Cheers!

Amazing!
I'll try it when I would have the time.
Thanks wildstar84!
