OK-so I installed 'xfce4-power-manager' and set it so as not to screen blank via 'xfce4-power-manager-settings'.
By this I mean;

Put display to sleep when computer is inactive for: Never
Switch off display when computer is inactive for:Never

I added 'xfce4-power-manager &' to ~/.fluxbox/startup

But...the screen still blanks after about 10 minutes __{{emoticon}}__ .

Have I added this command;
a) correctly in terms of syntax
b) in the correct location

???

do you have your screensaver enabled? i've once found that when your screensaver and your power manager are both enabled, they give problems so if you have it enabled disable it and see if it works then.
