I recently installed Xfce on AntiX. To me it is a nice combination. I admit, being such a dunce, it took me a while to figure out how to add it as a session to the log in manger.

I used XFCE on Antix M7 for a while. I really like XFCE but it became a little too heavy for me so I went back to Fluxbox when I installed 7.2. Xfce is great if you want some extra eye candy, it has a built in compositor.
