Hi ...
i wrote some of my thoughts about this distro in the wiki?
i am new here.. not new to Mepis... used it before more than several years ago..
recently i have installed a number of Linux distros...
kicking the tires and trying to get a challenge solved... using headphones
on my notebook / laptop...
Mint 6 .. Mint 7 and others ..
no way could i get enough sound to listen to.. only barely
and plugging in the headphones.. no sound...
so i am really surprised after putting this distro on a usb ..
the volume is louder than XP ... on my Asus notebook...
this is what i was expecting to experience from some comments
about OSS4 .. but not sure what sound driver is being used in antiX
so .. many kudos to this team... __{{emoticon}}__ __{{emoticon}}__ __{{emoticon}}__ __{{emoticon}}__ __{{emoticon}}__ __{{emoticon}}__ __{{emoticon}}__

Wait till you start using streamtuner to start downloading Music from FM Stations. I use my Asus in conjuction with my RCA Mp3 Player . Works like a charm. Never could get Streamtuner to work in any Ubuntu derivatives on my Asus EEE 900. Had too many hoops to jump through.
