I got a question about installing, Id apreciate any help.
Case is this: I'm trying to wipe xp on an old 128 RAM toshiba portege 7200 and (fully) to install antix-11m but when booting from a CD y got this message

usb_control/bulk_msg:timeout

and everything got stuck.. __{{emoticon}}__ I got confused because it seems that the usb devices aren't being recognized, however I got a usb optical mouse which is recognized indeed lines earlier with no problems.. I'm not an expert, sorry.
Any clue would be appreciated. __{{emoticon}}__

i don't think i will be of much help, but i'll try:
try booting without any usb devices to see if they are the problem?
and cuz you's also new here: welcome to the community!

edit: i don't know if it will be that important, but what version are you using? full,base or core?
i'm gonna try booting my base live-cd on a laptop with a usb optical mouse too to see if i get the same problem.

hey i did it and it gave 2 usb errors but it booted just fine. the mouse however did not work... maybe one of the other guys knows more about usb mouses and antix...
