Hello Forum
i just installed ANTIX (newest version) onto a dual boot laptop with winXP
everything is working correctly.
I have installed Afterstep window manager into ANTIX.
How do i get Antix to boot into the afterstep window manager?
How do i get Afterstep menus to show all the offerrings that Antix operating system is offerring.
I presume all of the above needs some editing of files....with text...
please can you help...

Welcome to antiX, VincePOPPY.
You need to edit, as user the .xinitrc file in you home users directory. add this somewhere in the middle.
afterstep)
exec afterstep
;;
And edit, as root, /etc/slim.conf.
Just add afterstep in this line:
sessions icewm,xfce,fvwm-crystal,kde,openbox,fluxbox
I guess that afterstep has a menu file in a folder in the home user directory which you can edit.
