I'm very happy with"antiX"! Now I had remove"win7" totally from my girlfriends net-computer. What other"Linux" is more recommed to a habitual"win7" user?
Is there any form of sheltering ("antivir etc.) necessery, or not?

Coming from Windows myself, I've found Linux Lite (currently 3.4 based on Ubuntu 16.04) is the most similar simple and stable distro to Win7/XP (it is designed specifically for, and limited by, bringing Windows users to Linux, what I use as my 2nd choice on computers that either AntiX or MX won't install correctly on, e.g, Thinkpad x301, also Wine/Wine Tricks seems to actually work on this for a few Windows programs that I still"need") (Ubuntu Mate and Zorin OS are others to consider as they have tools specifically to mimic the WIndows look), but MX-16 gives more options while still being very Windows-user friendly/familar (just change the panel orientation to Horizontal) and is in between that and AntiX 16.1 (which feels more like Windows 98/2000). I like MX- and AntiX better because they have the tools/options that encourage me to gradually learn more Linux-specific ways of doing things as I go along, while still being fairly Windows-like. all IMHO and YMMV.
