Hi 1st post here I have a small laptop I would like to get running I,m just unsure which version of antix m11 i should get. 486 or 686, returns i686 but when I tried arch i686 it said no i686 cpu found. I have a limit on downloads so would like to just do the 1.

Welcome.
If you have PI or K5/k6 (AMD) processors, download the 486 version. If you are not sure, download the 486 version (you can always install a 686 kernel later if need be)
