If this is a serious question, post your fstab and I'm sure some Marxist or non will be able to help.

This is what I would like to remain in my fstab
# /dev/sda1 /mnt/sda1 ntfs-3g auto,noatime,users,suid,dev,exec,locale=en_US.ISO-8859-1 0 0
/dev/sda2 /mnt/sda2 ntfs-3g auto,noatime,users,suid,dev,exec,locale=en_US.ISO-8859-1 0 0
/dev/sda3 /mnt/sda3 ext2 auto,noatime,users,suid,dev,exec 0 0
But some script with William Gates attitude changes it, and next boot sda2 and sda3 are not mounted, and comment is taken from /dev/sda1
So release name of perpetrating script that I may eliminate it; developer may live for an other day, but needs to change his vicked ways.

Put those lines above the
#Dynamic entries below line
and they will stick on reboot.

Sometimes it's difficult to get a read on a text message. Better to err on the side of caution and give someone the benefit of the doubt. My guess is that the author has not had much experience using debian. This is a standard way of handling dvd/cd drives in debian - dynamically. Other systems"hard-wire" their entries in fstab instead. It's given me fits at times, but it's all good.

John, I agree even if the name of the poster and some of the content of the post was deliberately provacative.
I doubt the OP will be back, but he/she cannot go around the blogoshere and complian about the 'Bolshevik's at antiX not helping him/her out.
