I installed libdvdcss-dev and w32codecs, but this still wasn't enough.
Linux Mint and Puppy Linux both play DVDs. I think antiX Linux should as well, and this is one of my goals for Swift Linux.

libdvdcss2 from debian multimedia repo. If you are in the US it is illegal to distribute that lib. Personally I couldn't care less whether s distro distributes it illegally or not. I'm just letting you know.
