Anyone got a quick and easy explanation of what a"Slit" is in Fluxbox? Or a link to that information?
I tried searching on YouTube but got nowhere fast on that one.
No rush on this. This is in the"nice to know" category.
Thanks!

I'll read through that link you posted and see if I can figure it out.
I just wanted to see if I could find a video showing how it works. No joy there, though.rust collector wrote:why are you searching on youtube?

its an invisible area of the fluxbox desktop. Its designed for things like dockapps, originally window maker dockapps, plus some other things.

Gives me something to try tinkering with some time.

when"tinkering" with desktop elements, create a new user and use him/her/it for the tinkering. If you stuff it up, can't recover old desktop or worse; just blow the user away and start again.
good luck,
greywolf.
Just a quick piece of advice (if you don't already do it);M_Mynaardt wrote:dolphin_oracle:

Never thought of before. __{{emoticon}}__
I'll do that if I start experimenting, though.
Thanks for that.
