Hello Friends __{{emoticon}}__
I introduce myself I'm new to this forum and Linux in general, I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the designer of Antix for his great work.
Here I have a pair of questions about the different versions of Antix
-I want to know what is the difference between version Edelwisspiraten and Jayaben Desai
are both rolling release?
-Is it EdelweiĆpiraten the upgrade of Jayaben?
Or there are two completely different things
-If I install Jayaben I could continue indefinitely upgrade as a rolling release?
-Or must necessarily pass to Edelweiss?
-Which version to install on a desktop fujitsu siemens, proc.celeron 1300mhz, 20gb hard disk and 312 mb of ram?
I'm sorry but starting on the very concept of Linux rolling release is quite exotic for me where all these questions.
If anticapitalista or someone else could enlighten me it would be very nice.
thank you

Well, in crude terms. I run everything from a AntiX 8.5 core install, AntiX 11 Base, Antix 12, to AntiX 64bit Alpha Testing.
My 8.5 are rolling releases. My 64Bit Alpha is a rolling release. Different between versions is the default file managers, Browsers, and custom AntiX scripts on initial install .
I know, pretty crude explanation. Problem is. I am a crude, and tattoed AntiX using Biker. Hopefully someone else can elaborate better than me.

I think a AntiX 12 Full iso install would work just fine on your gear-Which version to install on a desktop fujitsu siemens, proc.celeron 1300mhz, 20gb hard disk and 312 mb of ram?

You can use any as a rolling release in theory, however in practice the older the version, the more likely an issue may crop up when upgrading.
