when booting a warning appears

usplash: no theme found für 1024x768
screen init failed
but booting goes further on and all is working well

Is it possible to supress this warning? How?

Easiest way is to go to synaptic and remove usplash. Unless you want to use it...in which case you will need to install a theme.

Or an alternative would be fbsplash. See
