hello, i have a nokia 6630 that i want to use as a modem under antix 11 (pt 2). Is there posible?
I found a link here but don't know how to configure.

Try the GPRS umt-panel2 app in antiX under Applications->Internet

is not working, till the end
it detects a usb modem, does not specify nokia, but does not connect.
meybe i'm lacking some packages or something, but my question is, cant no one do a script of someking following the links above

Since I don't use a phone to connect or a Huawei modem. Not sure either which Huawei modem you bought either since you did not mention in chat. All I can do is post links for Huawei for Debian.

for gprs modems, try the latest public test of antix m11. it has umt-panel2 and it works for mobile modems. you can download it from

the thing is it detects the modem, can dial and connect, but after 3 seconds it disconnects.
any idea why?

Run it as root if you are not already, had the same issue with gnome-ppp. Running as root fixed the problem
