Hello:
I'm very pleased with antiX in my old laptop. I have Ubuntu running in my desktop and is running well and I have it configured with all the programs I want/need to run.
Is it possible to run antiX off a USB stick in my desktop and still have my desktop programs run or do I have to esentially load all the programs in the USB stick?
It's not such a big deal to be switching between Ubuntu and Antix but I would like to increase consistency. On the other hand, life is short and since the ubuntu desktop is running well, I'm not looking forward to reconfiguring everything again.
Regards,
Pedro
Use antiX to cross-platform?

You could use VirtualBox to run Antix inside Ubuntu. You would be able to run both at the same time.

But you would still have to install all the apps you wanted in antiX. Ubuntu and antiX couldn't share apps.

thanks for the responses. I guess that I'm stuck running both Ubuntu and AntiX.
