topic title: USB Mouse doesn't register as activity and computer sleeps

Hi again. Yes I know I'm filling this forum up with posts but I'm almost set up with antix.
Problem - I'm using my USB mouse which is working fine but the computer dosen't reconise it as actibvity and the screen goes blank. I them have to click the spacebar to get the screen to re-appear. It's killing me and I know its silly. Many thanks in advance.

Did you set xscreensaver? If not, you can deactivate the blanking in xorg.conf (Control center > System > Config Files):
Section"ServerFlags"
..
Option"blank time""0"
Option"standby time""0"
Option"suspend time""0"
Option"off time""0"
