Any walk throughs on how to connect my Nokia E71 to antiX?
I have always been able to connect it with mass storage mode for file movement or media transfer for pics/audio when using picasa or rhythmbox etc.
Picasa finds the phone but just hangs when it tries to view the content on the phone.
What's the best way to access and transfer files?
Ta.

Open PCmanFM and see if it shows up. If it does click on it to make sure it's mounted, then try a transfer.

Have found the mount button in Control Center so panic over.
Once mounted I can find the device in ROXFiler ( same as PCManFM? ).
Cheers

Glad you got sorted.
PCManfFM is a more traditional file looking manager. It will have locations on the left and directories/files on the right. As long as it's mounted you should be able to use it.

As an aside does antiX use any automounting or is it all manual?

PCManFM will"automount" if you click on the drive shown in the left pane.
