have a look at the antiX FAQ. lots of good help in there.

It is in /usr/share/antiX or in menu under Help.

I don't have what I consider a really low tech box, though I used to when I first discovered linux and then this forum. I really enjoy messing with AntiX 8.2, M8, M8.5 and look forward to installing A8.5. I have the beta on disk.

As with Mepis proper, you have a great distro and forum community. I appreciate your help and patience. I have some linux reading to do.

antiX-M8.5 is pretty close to being ready. I'll upload a beta4 soon for testing.
There will also be a newer antiX-FAQ (almost complete - thanks to oldhoghead and Silver Bear).
