After installing Blender and finding it wasn't working, I found it actually has an issue on the current test V12 and won't run.

When the final version of Antix 12 is released, will it be possible to update the current test version or does it involve starting again from scratch?

it is possible via apt-get update && apt-get dist-upgrade.
i don't know why blender isn't working, maybe others will help you.

blender needs libgl1-mesa-dri

so apt-get install libgl1-mesa-dri
should fix it.

That worked a treat! thank you so much! I thought I was going to either have to wait for the full version of v12 or downgrade to a previous version.
I'm amazed this little EEE PC can run blender at all. __{{emoticon}}__
