(sorry for the text inside the shoutbox, wrong insert field).

Now in detailed form: i have 2 icons, like /usr/share/icons/nuoveXT2/48x48/mimetypes/text-css.png and /usr/share/icons/oxygen/48x48/mimetypes/text-css.png which should show up on *.css files whenever those *.css was shown in file-manager.

Unfortunatly, only the /usr/share/icons/oxygen/48x48/... shows up when needed. The other /usr/share/icons/nuoveXT2/... never appears. I tried that

• update-mime-database -V /usr/share/mime

but that changes pretty nothing. I did not find any lazy *.cache in $HOME.

So how could restructure that mime thing? Are there new opendesktop.org directives i did not read yet ?
