after uncommenting the LID_SLEEP line the screen becomes black and can't reboot
as this happened only after deleting the # from #LID_SLEEP=true is there a way from a bootable usb to modify the file without reinstalling all antix?

The screen blanks from simply editing a file?
Which file?
What have you done / tried?
Perhaps there is a way??? Is the system installed to an hard drive? Are you doing this change on a persistent usb? Is the screen always blank 100% of the time? Do you see any text at all when starting the computer?
There could be a bunch more questions.... seen a post like this on the mx forum. I think that nobody knows what to suggest as everyone would be making a judgement based on more assumptions than facts. So perhaps a little more detail about what you are doing might lead to some better answers?
