Hi,
Recently installed antiX -m7.5 - every thing seemed to go fine until i rebooted after installing and tried to log in. I got an error"unable to execute login command" then the screen goes blank for a short period then the login screen reapears. Initially i thought that i had simply not put in the correct user name and password but this is not the case - if i put in an incorrect user name or password it simply resets and asks for the user name and password again so i dont think that is the problem.
Any ideas, any help is much appreciated.
Cheers.

At the login screen try CTL-ALT-F1 and see if you can login at the text prompt. I think maybe you might have a bad install or a bad disc burn.
If you can login via the console su to root and try startx.

If eriefisher's suggestion works, but on subsequent boots, you get the same problem, you might need to re-install slim.
Before you re-install slim, save the /etc/slim.conf file.
You will need it to make the login as default in antiX.
