Hi, I got the test iso and have run it online via wifi on a ThinkPad R51. It's a public library network with an open access point. Wicd has no trouble connecting, but what I then find is that there is no DNS until I edit resolv.conf to insert the local nameserver. In this case it is the IP address of the access point. I have struck this in the past with previous versions of antiX. What is the obvious mistake I am making?
I observed that CPU occupancy seemed consistently high, heading for 100% much of the time and this seemed to be related to Firefox. The machine has Intel video, the rather sad 82852/82855 GM/GME/PM/GMV model.
Haven't had a chance to mess with USB so far. It looks a bit scary, having just skimmed the messages to date. Are you keen for more results right now, or is there going to be a test 2 soon?
