I'm just curious if anyone out there is using a tiling window manager (which one) on a regular basis. I'm trying out i3 and really like it. My goal is to go as lean as possible on my Lenovo T60 without having to install Arch Linux. I'm hoping that Antix would be good enough. I'm finding I get more done using a tiling manager. My main apps re Audacity, Easytag, Chromium and Solitaire.

Herbstluftwm, which comes with antix, is nice, but imo, it takes a bit too much tinkering to set it up as you want it.
I used dwm for some time, and it is a good one, I can not complain about anything there.
spectrwm is the one I use now, and... I have nothing to complain about there either.
Umm, in what way do you mean lean? arch is not all that lean, really.

I've used Ratpoison in the past, & will be trying cwm in the near future (as it comes with OpenBSD).

By lean I mean apps etc... that run minimal dependencies.

I would try dwm, I think.
