THINK. Living in 400 sq ft is tight. That's about 37 sq meters. I lived for 6 months in the Yukon in a 20 ft by 20 ft (400 sq ft) cabin. And spent over 75% of the time outside. Talk about cabin fever after a while.

But then the idea of living off the grid is plausible and acceptable. If it is to just sleep and maybe cook in, it can be done on the long-term. But you will need to spend lots of time outside to keep your sanity. An alternative is to make one wall (or a large part of that wall) as a window to let lots of light in and scenery.

Has a well , power, phone, satellite, Cinder Block Brick House covered with Stucco (single story).
Over 2000 square feet. I built it and erected the 20x40 foot shop next to the house.

It is capable of of off grid living and is 1 hour out of Elpaso Texas. I live in a town now so it is empty.
It'll cost you more than 2 grand though since my place has acreage and it turn key livable.

I planned on retiring there when social security kicked in but my ol lady had other plans for me.
30 grand cash and it is yours. You get a free school bus and a 5th wheel travel trailer in the deal.

Just posting to make you jerk your neck and think a bit. __{{emoticon}}__

At one time th Bandidos motorcycle club when they wanted me as a member. Well, Wanted the Title to my little

I'll pass. Don't need no retirement home when I'm already so tired I retired. Forced to retired from a disability.

I don't think the Pagans want any Bandidos hanging around.

Built in the correct location, and I bring along fishing, and hunting equipment. That would keep me happy for hours.
Stuck in the house from, a snowstorm All I needed is some good books, a small honky tonk style piano, and I can keep the wife and I entertained for hours.
