During the process of deleting files I noticed a trashcan icon appear. But I've never encountered a trashcan function.
Can someone clarify whether a trashcan function exists in AntiX [i.e., whether AntiX is storing pointers to my deletions somewhere] If yes, how to navigate to the trashcan to empty it?
BTW, AntiX and my Thinkpad iSeries 1400 seem to be a marriage made in Linux Heaven.
Many thanks.

ASFAIK antix does not have a trashcan feature, nor do the included apps. It sounds like it may have gotten installed during an upgrade - debian side of things.

Thanks, OU812. Yesterday I took a closer look. The trashcan 'icon' I referred to is just a graphic symbol that is contained within the Confirm Delete button. This button appears whenever one selects a file and presses the Delete button on the keyboard.
Glad to hear there's no Trashcan function, which only delays the inevitable deletion of a file. Don't need it.
