INHO the netbooks are much cheaper to make. and 6 hours actually 3-4 hours depending on what u do on it is very little battery time for a computer with that specs. if the atom is very economical 2W or 4W as i recall, no dvd, small screen, low ram and a sd card, what the heck consumes that power from a 6 cell battery? i get 3 hours of battery on my normal thinkpad r61i with torrents (50 torrents at least),browsing several tabs, music all the time or movies, chat, the brightness at full (all themes black that means more power consume from the lcd). guess is because i use antix __{{emoticon}}__ . and for the workers, i'm very sorry for them, i know how it's like. here in eastern europe, many of the population work on the minimal wage , thats 100 euros with the current inflation, and the majority of the population works for 200-300 euros at the current inflation. and the students who finished the university, the majority of them get 200-300 euros for start because they don't have any experience and after a month or two they get canned or stay at the same sallary. and many of the employers pay us the minimal wage for university 200 euro on the current inflation. ohh and the daily hours are 8h but many stay 10-12h,some of them voluntary, many times without pay and everyone knows thats illegal, but nobody reports the employer. life sucks.
