The gtk Idesk Configurator (gtkidesk)
newbies, might find this script easier to configure idesk--form goblinx
i could not get it to work ,but it makes it way easy.
i think if idesk is on antix --it might be useful for antix to help new linux users that need icons.

i plan to mount the drives like puppy linux with:

for my dad--he is all most sold on linux.

he amazed at how fast i can get online--over his windows on an older hardware.

Hmm. I'm not sure if I still have it, but an older release of tinyme contained a custom set of scripts to make configuring idesk a bit easier. I'll look for it and see if I can't port it to antix. It may take me a week depending on my schedule.

I found the script on the tinyme livecd. I uploaded it to anti, but I don't know yet if it will be included on the next release. Either way, if you pm with your email address, I'll send it to you with instructions. And no need to worry about depends or installation - it's just an executable script that relies on apps already installed in antix.
