Hey all,

I just wanted to say my thank you to the antiX and mepis teams for creating MX-14.

I have been using Xubuntu on this machine since 9.04 and just stuck with it since its what I know. I never thought I would switch but after trying MX14 I have to say I am very pleased with how it handles for older machines. Reminds me of why I originally choose Xubuntu. Thank you for the snapshot software too, this also made trying out, configuring and installing to a live system the EASIEST linux install to date. So much so that I got bored and surfed the net instead of configuring my software. I missed being able to back up my system to a live disc after remastersys was discontinued.

there is probably more but I cannot think of them atm.

Added the old Gnome Brave Icons from Xubuntu 9.04 & the MurrianMono Theme as well.
Added Windows Icons from my old Windows XP disc - cause Tahoma looks the best!


other personal preferences, cause its all in what your use to...
replaced the Whisker Menu with the older Application menu
Added the Places plugin to the panelfor easy access
removed all the games and office suite (just an internet machine after all)
