Hi!

I have installed Antix 15 and I'm confused with the new boot options.

There are two entries

Code: Select all

menuentry 'antiX GNU/Linux, con Linux 4.0.5-antix.2-amd64-smp'
menuentry 'antiX GNU/Linux, with Linux 4.0.5-antix.2-amd64-smp (sysvinit)'
The diference is this option

Code: Select all

init=/lib/sysvinit/init
What means? sysvinit is not used by default? why I need two entries at grub?

Blame grub. Just boot the first and delete the second if it bothers you.

I think grub expects a systemd boot option (amazing how pervasive unification movements can become), but aniX uses only sysvinit.
