Hi! Four questions:
First, can i take a snapshot of my one system that is already set up correctly, burn it to a CD, and use it to install AntiX the way i want it on other computers? (Some are identical units.) This (of course) would also help if a drive dies or in the highly unlikely event that a student somehow manages to mess up one of the computers.
Second, please refresh my memory! How do i NOT minimize apps to icons on the desktop but JUST to the taskbar?
Can i lock my desktop icons in place?
Lastly, can i put a"show desktop/minimize all" button on the taskbar?
Thanks...

Yea, you can do an iso remaster of what you've customized. I forget the program but it is in Synaptic. Just do a word search on remaster and/or iso and you should find it. Since my laptop doesn't have a burner I alwasy delete it.

Thank you!! __{{emoticon}}__ I see it and also the cdrkit-doc for instructions. Thanks for tracking that down and posting a follow-up.

2. I presume you are using rox desktop/pinboard.
Right-click inside rox-filer>Options>Iconified windows>Uncheck Show iconified windows.
3. Don't know.
4. Don't think so.
Here is a great fluxbox howto.

1. You could use mondo. I think it will do what you want, and maybe rsync.
